How pricing works
Tokens explained
Tokens are how AI models measure text. 1 token β ΒΎ of a word. Both your input (the prompt) and the output (the AI response) consume tokens. A typical product description workflow uses roughly 500β2,000 tokens per row, depending on prompt complexity and output length.
Your daily token quota resets every 24 hours. Usage tracking is visible in real time inside the app.
AI requests per document
Each time a cell calls an AI model (via =LLM() or the AI assistant), it counts as one AI request. Text functions like CONCAT, TRIM, and IF don't count. This limit is per document - create as many documents as your plan allows.
Your keys, your costs
Batcher doesn't charge you for AI. When you use premium models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), you connect your own API keys and pay the provider directly at their published rates. Batcher adds zero markup.
A free built-in model (Qwen 3.5 27B) is included with every plan - powerful enough for most metadata, classification, and cleanup tasks. Many users handle 80% of their workload with the free model and only use premium models where quality matters most.

Which plan is right for you?
Free - Testing and exploration
You want to test Batcher on your real data before committing. Import a small sample of your catalog, try a workflow, see if the results meet your standards. No credit card, no time limit.
Starter - Solo e-commerce operators
You manage one catalog of up to a few thousand products. You need to enrich descriptions, fix metadata, or clean up supplier content. One person, regular usage, budget-conscious.
Pro - Small agencies and SEO consultants
You manage multiple clients with catalogs of thousands of pages. Your team of 2-3 needs shared access. You process daily and need headroom for large batch jobs. This is the plan most agencies start with.
Premium - Established agencies and large catalogs
You have a team of 5-10, you process at serious volume across dozens of client catalogs, and you want priority performance. Partner program gives you revenue share on referrals.
Pricing questions
What counts as a token?
Tokens are the basic units AI models use to process text. Roughly: 1 token β ΒΎ of a word, or about 4 characters in English. Both your prompt (input) and the AI's response (output) consume tokens. A 100-word product description typically uses 500β800 tokens total (prompt + response). Your daily quota resets every 24 hours.
Do I need to pay for AI models on top of my Batcher subscription?
Only if you want premium models. A free built-in model is included with every plan - it handles most tasks well. If you want to use ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or other premium providers, you connect your own API keys and pay the provider directly. Batcher never adds any markup. Many users cover 80% of their workload with the free model.
What happens if I hit my daily token limit?
Processing pauses until the next day when your quota resets. You don't lose any work - your spreadsheet and all results are saved. You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase your daily limit immediately.
What happens if I hit the AI requests per document limit?
You can continue working in the same document with non-AI functions (text, formulas, editing). For more AI requests, either create a new document or upgrade your plan. The limit is per document, not global.
Can I try before I pay?
Yes. The free plan gives you 25,000 tokens and 100 AI requests per document - enough to test a real workflow on your actual data. No credit card required. No time limit.
Is there an annual plan?
Not currently. All plans are monthly with no commitment. Cancel anytime.
I'm an agency. Which plan should I start with?
Pro (β¬79/month) - it includes 3 users, 15M tokens/day, and 500 spreadsheets. That covers most small-to-mid agency workloads. If you need more users or volume, Premium (β¬249/month) gives you 10 users and 65M tokens/day.
